Over the years, I've come to realize that it's essential to find joy in the journey, as it's usually more fulfilling than the destination. 

An artist at heart, I was born curious and I'm continually seeking new forms of self-expression. I've always been a passionate person, diving head first into each and every venture that I pursue.  Some days, I find myself precisely where I envisioned I would be; other days, life's adventures bring me to an unexpected yet equally wonderful destination. It's all part of the process of self-realization.

Each day, I arrive behind the chair; it's a cumulation of my journey through the world of hairdressing and life as a whole. I find inspiration and muses in the mundane, the abstract, the familiar, the new and the extraordinary. 

One thing is always certain: I am an artist by nature. Each day, my work enables me to embrace my inner artist in an experience that's simply divine. It's a tremendous privilege to love what you do and to do what you love.

It is not an exaggeration to say that Tony DeMartile's talent is truly transformational. He has been cutting and styling my hair for more than ten years and each year he just gets better and better. For years I was living with just a basic haircut before going to Tony about a year ago.  I was pleasantly surprised at the cut, and very happy about all the compliments I receive every time I go in.  Tony can just see what shape cut can make you look your best, and as someone that can't see that myself, I appreciate that!

I've been going to Solé  for years now, and it is time I wrote a review for my favorite salon ever. Since Tony started cutting my hair I've gotten so many compliments I've lost count.  He has also done many of my friends and colleagues, so I've seen how good he is with all types. He finds the best expression for *your* hair, but it always looks natural and easy. And the rest of the staff are wonderful and talented and adept at finding the best style for you. All done with those fabulous Aveda products.  You can probably tell, I love Solé Salon.
